1. Break in all over the world and steal everything (internet & world without regard for copyright)
  2. Sell the reworked stolen goods - handling stolen goods (subscription models & sales)
  3. Get paid for break-ins and handling stolen goods (investment by other tech corporations)
  4. Test new stolen goods on the shooting range in the kindergarten before selling them (Hugging Face/sandbox)
  5. Tell the world that it should regulate them

And to top off the cynicism, there is talk of a universal income, a universal income (not an unconditional basic income!) that is actually nothing more than a symbolic exchange of money.

Money is spent on products that no one would have to pay for anymore, only to then give the money back to the people who spend it on products that no one would have to pay for anymore …

Money thus becomes meaningless and useless. And all of this is propagated by the richest people in the world, who become even richer with their business. Who then also get fed up with this Earth and want to go to another planet.

To me, this smells considerably like the most massive personality disorder that has presumably not even been defined yet and that would be far too absurd even for villains from a Batman or James Bond film.

On a much smaller scale, these people would have long since been locked up for life in prison or in a psychiatric ward for endangering the general public.

AI has enormous potential in both directions. It can do a lot of good, but also a lot of bad.

But this “the end justifies the means,” as it began and as it is currently running, no one with a trace of a brain can endorse.
