Numbers in round brackets are the coordinates of the pads starting in the top left corner, always counted (horizontally to the right / vertically downwards). (7/4) are then 7 pads to the right and 4 pads down.

  1. SHIFT + SYNTH= New Synth
  2. SHIFT + (7,4) = select Subtractive
  3. SHIFT + (3/6) + SELECT KNOB = SAWtooth
  4. SHIFT + (4/6) + SELECT KNOB = SAWtooth (2nd Voice)
  5. SHIFT + (4/8) + SELECT KNOB = raise Volume
  6. SHIFT + (4/7) + SELECT KNOB = decrease Transpose “-12”
  7. SHIFT + (8/4) + SELECT KNOB = raise Voices eg 8
  8. SHIFT + (8/5) + SELECT KNOB = increase Detune eg 40
  9. SHIFT + (9/5) + SELECT KNOB = increase Attack eg 50
  10. SHIFT + (9/6) + SELECT KNOB = increase Decay eg 40
  11. SHIFT + (9/7) + SELECT KNOB = increase Sustain eg 20
  12. SHIFT + (9/8) + SELECT KNOB = increase Release eg 20-30
  13. SHIFT + (13/5) + SELECT KNOB = select S.Chorus
  14. Adjust Filter with Upper Golden Knob and 2nd LED Knob between Golden Knobs CUTOFF/FM

Further Finetunig

Add Delay (ping-pong)

  1. SHIFT + (15/5) = increase Amount eg 15
  2. SHIFT + (15/7) = select sync “OFF”

Add Reverb

  1. SHIFT + (14/5) = increase Amount eg 20

More Ideas

  1. Add with 2nd LFO and 2nd ADSR a Vibrato
  2. Use 1st ADSR to create Pizzicato Strings (short Attack/short Decay/noSustain/lill Release)
  3. Use additionally the 2nd ADSR width the 2nd Oscillator to create a late swell
  4. Reduce Stereo Width - Mono Delay, Reduce Reverb Width (14/3)
  5. Use Highpass Filter to cut lower Frequencies to fit in better in a track
  6. Use Portamento (8/8) to create Glides
  7. Use Phaser (13/5) instead of Chorus for spacey Strings/Pads
  8. Detune 2nd Oscillator (4/7) not exactly to -12. Instead -11.9 or -11.7 to create friction.
  9. Detune 2nd Oscillator (4/7) to a perfect fifth (+/-7)
  10. Detune 2nd Oscillator (4/7) to a much higher octave eg +24 but reduce Volume (4/8)
  11. As 2nd Oscillator (4/6) use a SINE, TRIANGLE, SQUARE, the anaolg equivalent, a WAVETABLE or a SINGLE CYCLE Wave and try different octaves - Transpose (4/7)
  12. Only LFO (Vibrato/Tremollo) the 2nd Oscillator … or the 1st Osciallator
  13. Combine some or all of this ideas

Tips 4 Playing

Always play with these parameters in small and also in large steps to get different timbres and moods.

  1. Using a high Filter Resonance around 30-35 and playing with Filter Cutoff between 15-30 creates wonderful whistles
  2. Using Distortion SHIFT + (7/1) around 4-6 creates in lower pitches nice aggressive and menacing sounds
  3. Using Bitcrsuher SHIFT + (7/2) from 1- 15 creates wonderful broken end time sounds
